Motives Festival Genk moves to the wonderful and exciting C-mine location in Genk. The festival is consequently renamed in C-MINE JAZZ GENK and will take place in November 12 & 13, 2010.

Paolo Fresu and his Devil Quartet were the sparkling finale of a three day festival full of surprises. The audience's reaction to Fresu's devilish gig was euphoric. Earlier that night, the Dowland project and the Yaron Herman Trio proved far more than warm up concerts for the headliner. Full report on the festival to come.

The duo Jef Neve & José James will perform on Friday November 13. in the legendary 'Olympia' in Paris as support of Melody Gardot. This will be a great warming up for their concert in Genk, the next day!

Our festivalpartner Cultuurcentrum Genk now has a jazz program during the year and will present tomorrow, October 10. the spectacular British jazz-rap band from Blue Note "US3".
